Prof. Maud Graff is an expert in creating opportunities for people with dementia and their caregivers to participate in meaningful daily and social activities, with the aim to increase their quality of life, in which self-management plays an important part. It concerns a person-centered approach in which the perspectives of both the person with dementia and his/her caregiver are used to form the basis for shared decision-making with professionals.
